What a nice surprise when I received the email from PIXOLOGIC – the makers of ZBrush – that they want to add me as a featured artist in their turntable gallery. I always check the amazing work of incredible artists there and wasn’t expecting at all to be featured there as well any time soon.

We have just added a few turntables from a member new to the gallery. This illusive artist only goes by VISEone, and has been building a portfolio of some interesting characters and creatures for the past year. The creature titled “Swoopy” is what caught our attention; the texturing and rendering are great, and FiberMesh was used for the grass.

 

AMOR DRAGON
He’s an AMOR DRAGON – responsible for spreading the love in the fairytale land. It’s a 24/7 duty and he hates his job – flying around and shooting arrows with his cupid beeing bored…and that his skin is pink doesn’t light up his mood either.

Beware of the SWOOPY – hunting anything he can eat.
His camouflage trick is to look like a guy wearing a costume – and when you ask where he got that incredible costume from – then it’s already too late and you’ll end up as “Swoopyfood”.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I did it again!
Don’t blame me for using my tube concept once again, but when I recieved the small apple – this instantly popped in my mind.

Without a clear concept in mind this came out by a speedsculpt session – aprox. 45min.

Currently I’m always watching the old STAR TREK series besides working on several stuff. So I thought it would be a good ZBrush excercise to model Spock by reference images.

It turned out okay for me – but I still need a lot of practise – so here is Mr. Spock:
